In honor of Valentine's Day, students worked in teams on a Valentine's Day Edition of Cracking the Classroom Code. Students were challenged to collaborate and use their knowledge of comparing and ordering fractions to save our school from a love bug infection.

To demonstrate their understanding of the role of various text features found in informational texts, students "scrubbed-in" for surgery. Their goal was to help some very confused patients navigate nonfiction reading.
